- For the majority of my life, I believed that I was really a good person. But one day it was explained to me that I wasn't that good person I thought I was. I would not get into heaven like I thought, when I died. I was shown through God's Holy standard, The Ten Commandments, that I had violated every Law and was not on good terms with God. The punishment for violating even one of those Laws condemed me to Hell. I began to become hopeless and heartbroken over my sin. I then realized that Jesus had taken the punishment for my sin and paid my fine for all the Law breaking and then rose from the grave 3 days later, defeating death. At that point I asked Jesus to please forgive me, repented of my sin and placed my trust in Jesus, forever to cling to him for my salvation alone. God graciously showed me my plight before God and he is responsible alone for my salvation. Thank you Jesus for your unspeakable gift!
